Special Events



On March 2, 2001, Zen Master Thich Thanh Tu attended a ceremony in North Vietnam and placed the first brick on the land, where Truc Lam Yen Tu monastery is built. It's currently under construction and expected to be finished by the end of 2002.

On April 19, 2002, the Zen Master visited Australia.

Brief lecture to the Buddhists. Then, at 10 a.m., the Most Venerable met with journalists for interviews.

At 2 p.m. - The ceremony of ordainment(renunciation).

The Most Venerable reserves all day for the Buddhists' visitation.
